Position Overview 
The Systems Engineer role is responsible for the deployment and support of technology solutions including server environments, unified communications, virtualization, IPTV, physical security, network infrastructure and other technologies as required.


Essential Job Functions
• Deployment of technologies such as unified communications, network infrastructure, server infrastructure, virtualization, IPTV, physical security, network infrastructure and other technologies as required.
• Support of technologies such as unified communications, network infrastructure, server infrastructure, virtualization, IPTV, physical security, network infrastructure and other technologies as required.
• Perform helpdesk related duties when scheduled to be in the Network Operations Centre
• Attend regular onsite client visits and conduct regular checks of the client’s technology platform


Required Attributes
The successful candidate will possess
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in supporting Windows networks
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals
• The desire to learn new skills
• The desire to work as part of a team
• A strong customer focus
• Own transport and drivers license
