Kytec awarded Cisco SMB Partner of the Year for Asia Pacific at Cisco Partner Summit in San Francisco

Kytec was awarded the SMB Partner of the Year 2010 for the Asia Pacific Region at the Cisco Partner Summit in San Francisco last week. This coveted award recognises the innovation and service excellence that Kytec prides themselves on.

This award is in addition to the Cisco Commercial Partner of the Year for ANZ that Kytec were awarded in November last year. When asked about the factor’s attributing to their success, Kytec’s Managing Director, David Okulicz simply said “Our staff. Our entire team really is first class and without them, our customer focus, innovation and service excellence would mean nothing”. He continued by saying “we are recognised for our strategic relationships with our partners and strong customer focus but without motivated and passionate staff to represent this culture, these values would not make it out of the boardroom”.

Kytec's widely recognised integration skills were recently reported on in an article describing how one of Kytec's Hotel customers has increased revenue through a period where revenues would be expected to be lower. Mullaloo Beach Suites and Sorrento Beach Resort implemented guest wireless internet and IP telephony which allowed the Hotels to increase revenue that was previously unattainable due to the outdated and unreliable existing systems. Powered by Cisco technology, the wireless and telephony solution not only increased guest satisfaction and hence revenue, it also increased staff morale due to the drastic reduction in support requests and complaints.
