Kytec Group Wins Cisco Commercial Partner of the Year at Cisco Australia and New Zealand Business Partner Conference 2009

Kytec were recently awarded the Cisco Commercial Partner of the Year at the Cisco Australia and New Zealand Business Partner Conference. This coveted award is given in recognistion of exemplary business parters whose actions Cisco deem to be both industry leading and beneficial to the customer community as a whole.

Kytec's widely recognised integration skills were recently reported on in an article describing how one of Kytec's Hotel customers has increased revenue through a period where revenues would be expected to be lower. Mullaloo Beach Suites and Sorrento Beach Resort implemented guest wireless internet and IP telephony which allowed the Hotels to increase revenue that was previously unattainable due to the outdated and unreliable existing systems. Powered by Cisco technology, the wireless and telephony solution not only increased guest satisfaction and hence revenue, it also increased staff morale due to the drastic reduction in support requests and complaints.

Kytec partners with Cisco in sponsoring the Hotel Operations and Technology Show 2009

Kytec recently partnered with Cisco as leading industry sponsors of the Hotel Operations and Technology Show. The exhibition which ran July 30 and 31 at Star City in Sydney displayed the latest trends and technologies in the Hotel industry as reported by many well known Hospitality experts including world-renowned Hotel Technology Consultant, Ted Horner.

Kytec and Cisco showed off their latest Hotel Technology platform which included IP Telephony, Unified Communications, IPTV, Wireless and Wired High Speed Internet, application and server virtualisation for business systems such as email and PMS systems and Cisco’s latest Physical Security offering. Kytec were able to present their unique approach to the Hotel Industry which is a culmination of their high levels of technical expertise and project management skills and their intimate knowledge of the Hospitality industry.

Imdex Limited chooses Kytec to deploy multi-site communications system

Imdex Limited have selected Kytec to design and deploy multi-site telecommunications infrastructure and services covering their Osborne Park and West Perth Offices.


Selecting Kytec's Cisco Unified Communications Express solution, Imdex Limited is looking to improve communications efficiency between geographically dispersed offices and therefore increase productivity. Western Australian College of Teaching selects Kytec to enhance call handling

The Western Australian College of Teaching (WACOT) have selected Kytec to partner in their new telecommunications infrastructure and services as they commence relocating to their new offices in Ascot.

Selecting Kytec's Cisco Call Manager solution, WACOT looked to converged communications for telephony services for their new offices. Based on Cisco's Call Manager, Kytec are integrating Cisco's IP Contact Centre application, further enhancing the first point of call for WACOT's 46,000 members.

Carey Baptist leaps ahead with Cisco Infrastructure and Telephony

Carey Baptist College in Southern River, Western Australia, have selected Kytec to design and deploy an integrated Cisco network for staff and students. Deploying Cisco's Catalyst switching at their network core, Carey have created a strong yet flexible platform for their Wireless N and Cisco Call Manager deployments with Kytec. Using a Cisco Wireless LAN controller, the complex nature of the school wireless environment can be easily managed, providing the staff and students with fast, reliable and secure network access.

With the switching and wireless infrastructure in place, integrating communications with the converged infrastrucure was obvious. By selecting Cisco Call Manager, Carey have enabled industry-leading features for the school's administration and teaching staff, including roaming wireless Telephony for key users, allowing constant contact across the campus.

 

Joondalup Resort updates Telephony with Kytec's Hospitality Solution

Joondalup Resort and Country Club, nestled in Connolly Western Australia, have upgraded their telephony system with a Cisco Call Manager Express solution. Combining the advantages of IP telephony with their existing analogue telephony in guest rooms, Joondalup have created a cost effective platform for staff and guests.

Kytec developed Hospitality features for the Cisco telephony platform ensure that Joondalup can access Hospitality features on a fully converged voice system. They are now looking forward to integrating Voice over IP connectivity to further reduce telephony expenditure.

Kytec selected by Cisco to represent the partner
Late last week, Kytec were selected by Cisco to represent the SME space in the Aisa\Pacific region at the Cisco Channel Exchange in Lisbon. The conference is to include multiple press sessions involving the key players in the IT press industry such as ARN and CRN.
