Antispam

Spam is often listed as one of the major concerns of most organisations with an electronic presence and the costs to businesses in lost productivty is almost unmeasurable. It has been suggested recently that spam accounts for over 80% of all emails send on any given day. Antispam appliances are available to counteract this spam and prevent the unsolicited emails from ever reaching their destination. Kytec currently offers two seperate models for the provision of antispam. The first and most popular model is a managed spam service whereby customer's emails are filtered through dual Ironport devices hosted by Kytec. This provides the customer with all features that would otherwise be available without any concern for ongoing support and maintenance and not requiring any up front capital expenditure. The second available option makes the antispam appliances available for the customer to purchase and host in their own internal environment.

Security Audits

More often than not, by the time a potential vulnerability is found it has already been exploited and it is then too late and the costs associated with the attack have already been incurred. Attacks can range from simple attacks such as a denial of service, designed to cause down time in a network or virus outbreaks to more serious attacks such as impersonation or toll fraud. Costs associated with a security breach are often significant particularly when data integrity or confidentiality has been compromised. Kytec provide security audits with comprehensive reports providing recommendations to secure the network or increase data security. These reports allow the customer complete peace of mind when it comes to the security of their sensitive data and the vulnerability of their network.
